Background

SCAD Northwest is an area comprised of four school buildings belonging to the Savannah College of Art and Design, including Adler Hall, Fahm Hall, Alexander Hall, and Hamilton Hall, providing students with a collaborative environment to work and learn in various majors, including Graphic Design, Photography, Film & Television, Advertising & Branding, Sound Design, Printmaking, and Jewelry & Accessory Design.

Objective

Create a branded Identity for the SCAD Northwest and a Wayfinding System to help navigation from Poetter Hall to the SCAD NW’s school buildings in the northwest section of the historic district.

Approach

The SCAD Northwest branding identity embodies the spirit of this vibrant community of young designers, celebrating its creativity, collaboration, and limitless potential. This branding identity not only creates a visually unified community but also inspires students to be innovative and daring in their approach to design.
